Eboracum Baroque are delighted to return to the long gallery at Wimpole Hall to perform a varied programme of Baroque music with a particular connection to the final residents of Wimpole. George Bambridge was a keen concert goer who documented many of the concerts and works he heard. A number of these were Baroque works particularly for the violin. Baroque violinist Alice Earll will perform music by Bach including his Partita No.2 for solo violin. Bambridge also recorded hearing a concert of some of Handel’s most famous arias including from his stage work, Semele*.
Tickets available via the National Trust website here
* Please note – Eboracum Baroque will perform Handel’s Semele at Wimpole in full on Saturday 30th June 2018.
